The legendary land of the Incas, the high western Andes, a land of colors, textures and... flavors. During this trip to Salta and Jujuy you will get to know one of the most colonial cities in Argentina, you will tour -through mountainous roads- the "Route of the Clouds" until arriving at the famous Quebrada de Humahuaca (UNESCO World Heritage Site), while going through typical Puna small towns. Although suitable for everyone, you have to bear in mind that many of the places you will visit are at an average altitude of 3000 meters above sea level (about 9000 feet). No special gear or equipment is required.
